| LONG BROTHERS STORE on East Chestnut Street, opposite Bradford Avenue. Meats and groceries could be purchased here in the early 1920s - 1930s. For many years the second floor had been used as the meeting site of the local Odd Fellows Lodge and their sister group, the Deborah Sampson Lodge of Rebekahs. Later the upstairs area was used as a dance studio. In more recent years the main floor had been the location of popular restaurants before the building was converted into offices. |
